WHAT CAUSES WRINKLES?

Wrinkles and facial lines are caused by a combination of factors - these include ageing, sun damage, loss of elasticity, breakdown of collagen, hyperactive facial muscles and genetic make-up. Other factors such as smoking, diet and alcohol consumption can contribute to the development and worsening of wrinkles. At Halo Aesthetics® we are experts in softening and improving the appearance of facial wrinkles using safe and effective injections to restore your self-confidence.

THE TREATMENT

Treatment for the improvement of lines and wrinkles is only available after a consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses, who will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss your desired outcome.

During the treatment itself a tiny needle is used to inject a substance into the facial muscles which bring about a reduction in lines in wrinkles within a few weeks.

The procedure is quick, very safe and relatively painless. You may experience some temporary redness and bruising following treatment but you can resume your normal daily activities straight away.

We will see you 2 weeks after your treatment for a review to assess the effectiveness of your treatment. The results will last between 3-6 months depending on the severity of your lines and how long you have been having treatment.
