WHO IS THE TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?

It is well known that the signs of ageing become apparent as you reach your mid-to-late thirties, so anyone this age or older could benefit from this treatment. Some of the typical concerns clients come to us with are:

• Sunken cheeks
• Loss of definition in the cheeks
• Nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines)
• Hollow and tired undereye area
• Jowls and loss of definition in the jawline
• Sagging skin
• Marionette lines (mouth to chin lines)
• Folds, lines and wrinkles

If you have 3 or more of these concerns then you are likely to be suitable for the 3-Point Facelift. This procedure treats the face as a whole rather than focusing individual lines/wrinkles. More often than not the result is more natural looking when a whole-face approach is taken rather than when filler is used in isolated areas.

THE TREATMENT

Before any treatment is agreed you will have a consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses who will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss your desired outcome and budget. The treatment time varies between individuals but should be no longer than approximately 30-40 minutes. 

The skin will be prepared and cleaned then a fine cannula will be used to inject the filler into the areas being treated. This cannula technique requires far fewer injection than using needles and reduces bruising and skin trauma. You may feel some mild discomfort but this will be minimal and short-lived. The products we use also contain local anaesthetic which minimises discomfort during the procedure.

You will normally see the results immediately although there may be some initial swelling so it is best to wait a few days to see the actual result.

The treatment will usually last from 12-18 months. After this time the product will start to be broken down and re-absorbed by your body with results gradually wearing off.
