WHAT ARE SKIN PEELS?

Skin peels are a simple and effective way to improve the appearance of dull/tired skin, ageing skin, acne, excess oiliness, enlarged pores, sun damage, superficial scarring (including acne scarring) and hyperpigmentation.

The Perfect Peel® is one of our most popular peels and offers significant improvement in skin texture, skin tone, UV damage and lines/wrinkles after just one treatment. The Perfect Peel® will have a noticeable effect on your skin in just one week and we recommend repeating the treatment once or twice a year to keep your skin looking fresh, radiant and even in tone and texture.

There are a number of Perfect Peel® options available in clinic including The Perfect Peel® Superblend and booster options. Your practitioner will be able to recommend the best option for you.

BENEFITS OF SKIN PEELS

The Perfect Peel® and Perfect Peel® Superblend are medical grade skin peels which are suitable for all skin types, including darker skin types. The Perfect Peels both contain a unique blend of acids and antioxidants to target signs of ageing, UV damage, acne, and pigmentation issues.

The Perfect Peels can be used on all skin types and require no pre-peel skin preparation (although this may be recommended for more severe pigmentation or scarring). The treatment takes less than 20 minutes and is not generally considered painful.

WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN THE PERFECT PEELS?

The ethos of The Perfect Peel is simple: the strength of single acids alone (e.g. traditional glycolic/lactic/salicylic) do not determine results - it's all about the BLEND of innovative, clinically proven ingredients which creates powerful, yet safe, skin peels for incredible healthy skin. The Perfect Peel® and Perfect Peel® Superblend formulations blend together pigmentation inhibitors, master anti-oxidants, hydrating agents, anti-inflammatories and anti-ageing ingredients to transform your skin after just one treatment.

The Perfect Peel® and Perfect Peel® Superblend both contain a key anti-ageing ingredient never before used in a peel: GLUTATHIONE. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant, penetrating deep into the cellular level of the skin to fight oxidant damage, slowing down the ageing process and improving UV damage. Our bodies naturally produce glutathione but as we age, our levels deplete due to sun exposure, air pollutants, environmental stress and the ageing process itself. Glutathione is also proven to reverse melanin’s metabolism, bringing about a lightening effect on hyperpigmentation and sun spots.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PERFECT PEEL® AND PERFECT PEEL® SUPERBLEND?

The Perfect Peel has taken the UK by storm and has become famous for its amazing results. It is a medium to deep, medical grade skin peel that can only be administered by a medical professional (e.g. nurse, doctor or dentist). It contains a unique blend of 5 acids (salicylic, TCA, retinoic, kojic and phenol) with added glutathione, vitamins and minerals. It is suitable for all skin types and colours and is safe even on darker skins.

The Perfect Peel® Superblend is a medium to superficial depth hybrid skin peel, which can be administered by a trained skin therapist, and has a slightly shorter duration of downtime and peeling but still delivers fantastic results. The unique blend of pigmentation inhibitors, antioxidants, hydrating agents, calming ingredients and anti-inflammatories, reduces downtime and leaves your skin glowing from the inside out. It contains a blend of Glutathione, Kojic Acid, Trichloracetic Acid (TCA), Pure Retinol, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Resorcinol, Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Mandelic Acid and Azelaic Acid.
