WHAT LIP FILLERS DO WE USE?

Lips are very unique and not all dermal fillers are created equal. At Halo Aesthetics® we use Kysense® - an innovative product which has unique properties which offer precision, projection and high patient satisfaction. We use our Artistry in Aesthetics™ approach to carry out a 10-point lip assessment to ensure that your results look natural and are beautifully proportioned and suit your features. Our aim is always to create natural-looking, long lasting, gorgeous lips that will be the envy of your friends.

Lip fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, and formulated to allow maximum integration with your lip tissue to ensure a smooth, natural looking enhancement and natural movement around the lips and mouth.

THE PROCEDURE

Once we have completed our 10-point lip assessment we will apply a strong local anaesthetic (numbing) cream to your lips for around 20 minutes. Once your lips are numb we will perform the procedure, which will only take around 10-15 minutes.

You will see the results immediately, although your lips may be slightly swollen making them look a bit bigger than the final result will be.

It is common to have some bruising and swelling for a few days and your lips will feel quite tender, but once this settles they will feel soft and natural just like your own lips. 

You can choose to have either 0.5ml, 0.7ml or 1.0ml - your Aesthetic Nurse will guide you with this choice.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Lip Enhancement normally lasts between 6 and 9 months although this can vary depending on the amount of filler used, the formulation used and the individual response. 

For those people with very thin lips we suggest building up the lip volume gradually over the course of 2-3 treatments a few months apart to safely volumise the lips without overstretching them.
