WHAT IS ELLANSÉ®?

ELLANSÉ® is an advanced dermal filler which works differently to other dermal fillers. Thanks to its unique properties, it not only softens wrinkles and folds but also stimulates your own collagen production to further improve the appearance of ageing skin. The result is instant but gets better with time as collagen is replenished, so the effects are gradual, giving you a natural youthful appearance that is long-lasting.

Ellansé is used to add definition and volume to cheeks, temples, jawline, chin, nasolabial folds (nose to mouth lines), jowls and even the hands.

HOW DOES ELLANSÉ® WORK?

ELLANSÉ® works differently and more naturally than traditional dermal fillers. It uses the body’s natural response to stimulate the formation of your own collagen. As the skin ages it loses collagen and elastin, it becomes lax and begins to sag, which contributes to a tired and aged look.

Ellansé helps to improve the visible signs of ageing whilst simultaneously promoting new collagen formation in the skin to enhance the treatment and give you natural looking results, which last longer than conventional dermal fillers.

Whether you are looking for complete facial rejuvenation or just a subtle ‘tweak’ our Aesthetic Nurses have the skills and experience to help you achieve your goals. We will work in partnership with you to create a bespoke treatment plan to address your individual needs, expectations and budget.

During the consultation your Aesthetic Nurse will assess your facial features and determine which areas need to be treated. Sometimes a small 'tweak' is all that is required to boost your confidence, but some people require treatment to multiple areas to achieve the results they desire.

The beauty of Ellanse® is its ability to plump out the features using only a small quantity of filler, which keeps the number of injections (and the cost) to a minimum.

During the consultation we will discuss all of the alternative options to ensure that you are fully informed before we decide whether Ellansé® is the right treatment for you.

DURING YOUR TREATMENT

Before any treatment you will have a consultation with one of our Aesthetic Nurses who will assess your suitability, desired outcome and budget.

The treatment time varies depending on what areas are being treated but should be no longer than around 30 minutes. Ellanse® will be injected into the areas being treated using a fine cannula which minimises the number of injections required and reduces bruising, ensuring that downtime is minimal. You may feel some mild discomfort but this should be minimal and short-lived.

You will normally see some results immediately although best results are seen 2-3 weeks later and you will continue to see further improvements after several months as your skin produces natural collagen.

Ellanse® is available in a 1 year or 2 year formulation so results are long lasting. After this time the product will start to be broken down and safely reabsorbed by your body.
