WHAT IS VISCODERM HYDROBOOSTER?

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is an innovative, advanced hyaluronic acid injection which offers a unique HYDROSTRETCH dual function to hydrate the tissues and stretch out fine lines and wrinkles. Its unique action gives a boost to skin hydration, elasticity, radiance and smoothness, improving the appearance of superficial wrinkles, especially in areas of expressive movement such as the eyes, forehead and mouth.

Results are visible after just one treatment although deeper lines may require two treatments. We recommend treatment every 6 months to maintain results.

HOW DOES THE TREATMENT WORK?

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is a pure form of hyaluronic acid which offers a dual action of hydration and stretching to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

It provides hydration by replacing lost hyaluronic acid to promote skin elasticity, radiance and smoothness whilst a unique stretch effect reduces the appearance of superficial wrinkles caused by dynamic facial expressions, for a smoother skin appearance.

WHAT DOES THE PROCEDURE INVOLVE?

We will prepare your skin and apply a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) for around 20-30 minutes. The product will then be injected to the areas being treated with a very fine needle. During the procedure you may feel some discomfort but this will be tolerable and short-lived.

Immediately after treatment your skin may be red and there may be some bruising. The treated area will feel slightly tender for a few days and there may be some mild swelling but this will resolve quickly. You will start to see results after around 2 weeks with best results seen at around 8 weeks. If your lines are very deep, we may recommend a second treatment at 8 weeks then every 6 months to maintain results.
